The New York Yankees have hit a five-year high in TV viewership, in just about every measurable category, according to YES Network.
YES said Yankees game telecasts are up 57% in the first half of this season over the same period last season and the average of 343,000 is the most since the 370,000 in the first half of the 2012 season.
The growth in the 18-49 age group is up 73%, the largest increase in that category. Yankees Batting Practice Today viewership is up 153% from this time last year. The pre-game show is up 106% and the post-game show is up 61%.
Yankees fans, it appears, are tuning in to watch Judge, who in his first full season is hitting .329 with 30 home runs, breaking Joe DiMaggio’s record for most home runs in Yankees history by a rookie — and there’s still…
