Trump likely headed to U.S. Women's Open this weekend in New Jersey

It’s well known that Donald Trump has a strong golf game, but here are some other presidents who have had success on the links.

President Trump appears to be headed back to his New Jersey golf course this weekend, a visit that would coincide with the U.S. Women’s Open being held there. 

A notice to pilots issued by the Federal Aviation Administration on Monday indicates that Trump will be at Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster. The temporary flight restriction (TFR)  — which prohibit air traffic within a 10-nautical mile circle of Bedminster —  is a telltale sign of the president’s travel, although TFRs are not an official confirmation that Trump will be at the event. 

The flight restrictions will be in place Friday through Sunday. 

“The USGA was made aware of the Temporary Flight Restriction, but unfortunately, we have no information related to a possible presidential visit,” said Janeen Driscoll, the USGA’s director of public relations, referring questions about a potential visit to the White House.
