Serena Williams is already considering Australian Open, her coach says

Serena Williams is already talking about her return to competitive tennis after having her baby.

Williams, who is about six months pregnant, watched her sister Venus beat Kurumi Nara in the second round of the French Open on Wednesday. Serena and fiance Alexis Ohanian attended the Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday.

Her last match was the Australian Open final, where she beat Venus to claim her 23rd Grand Slam title. She revealed that she was pregnant in February and has said that winning the Australian Open “wasn’t very easy.”

She says she will return to the tour in 2018.

According to an Associated Press report, she’s talked to her coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, about getting back on the court.
