Roundup: Arjen Robben Returns and Helps Bayern to a Milestone

Arjen Robben scored in his return from a groin injury as Bayern Munich defeated visiting Cologne, 4-0, on Saturday for the club’s 1,000th Bundesliga victory.

Robben, who had not played since being injured in an international game on Sept. 3, broke a scoreless tie in the 35th minute.

Arturo Vidal made it 2-0 five minutes later with a light deflection, Robert Lewandowski scored his 13th goal of the season with a header off a free kick in the 62nd, and Thomas Müller scored on a penalty in the 77th.

Bayern, which lost its first match of the season at Arsenal in the Champions League on Tuesday, moved provisionally 10 points clear of Borussia Dortmund and extended its league-record start to 10 straight wins.
