PITTSBURGH – Penguins coach Mike Sullivan confirmed that gritty forward Patric Hornqvist, who missed six games in the Eastern Conference final because of injury, will play Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final tonight against the Nashville Predators.

Sullivan wouldn’t say who will leave the lineup, but Carl Hagelin and Jake Guentzel are possibilities.

“I don’t think we ease anyone into the lineup,” Sullivan said. “When I guys enter the lineup, they are ready to play, period.”

Hornqvist last played May 13. He has seven points in 13 playoff games.

Nashville coach Peter Laviolette wouldn’t reveal his lineup moves, but he has said that everyone who made the trip is available to him.  Predators captain Mike Fisher made the trip and he’s likely to return to the lineup.

Game 1 is tonight at 8 p.m. ET (NBC).
