In her rookie season, South Korea’s Sung Hyun Park won the U.S. Women’s Open title Sunday after taking a two-shot lead with a birdie on the 17th hole.

With President Trump watching from a box overlooking the course, Park finished at 11-under for the tournament after shooting 5-under 67 in the final round at Trump National Golf Club. It was the first victory of her career.

Late in the round, Park, 23, was in a three-way tie for the lead with amateur Hye-Jin Choi and Shanshan Feng.

Choi finished second and two shots behind Park, while Feng triple bogeyed the final hole to fall back to 6-under and a tie for fifth.

Park’s best finish this season was a tie for second at the LPGA Volvik Championship in May. She tied for third at last year’s U.S. Women’s Open, her first time playing in the tournament.
