Los Angeles Lakers point guard Lonzo Ball clearly caught LeBron James’ attention Wednesday night thanks to a winning summer league performance of 36 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds. James, who’s worn Nike since entering the NBA, also noticed Ball wearing the signature swoosh and not the Big Baller Brand $495 shoes.
Sitting courtside, an impressed James told ESPN, “he can really pass.”
But would Ball ever be dishing dimes to the three-time NBA champion?
“Growing up, that’s our Michael Jordan,” Ball sheepishly said after his Lakers beat the Philadelphia 76ers.
