Charlton on tacos: ‘Believe me, I’ve been trying them my whole life.’
Taco Charlton spent most of his life battling and explaining his nickname.
Now it’s finally paying off for the former Michigan football player, who was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the first round of April’s NFL draft.
The Mexican food chain “Taco Bueno” announced it signed him to an endorsement deal, as reported on restaurantnews.com today.
The Texas-based food chain announced the move in a news release.
“In my short time here, I have discovered that Texas is THE PLACE for tacos,” Charlton, whose given first name is Vidauntae, said in the release. “Believe me, I’ve been trying them my whole life.
