ST. LOUIS (AP) — St. Louis Blues forward Jaden Schwartz will be out at least 12 weeks because of a fractured left ankle.
The team said Saturday he was taken to a hospital for surgery after slipping and crashing into one of the goals during practice a day earlier.
Schwartz has four assists in seven games. He was a first-round pick in the 2010 draft and for his career has 139 points in 214 regular-season games.
